Looking for a tee that doesn't look like a basic? Michael Stars is where we send anyone who wants an everyday top with a little more shape to it. It's a woman-founded label making its essentials in Los Angeles, and the fit is the point: clean finishes, power and shirred shoulders, necklines that sit where you want them.

Not sure what to reach for first? A short sleeve crew or scoop tee is the easiest place to start, and the 3/4 sleeve and long sleeve ribbed henley carry you into cooler weather. Want something sleeveless? The tanks range from a relaxed boxy cut to a tie neck you can dress up. Need a whole outfit?
